I hava the following problem with Windows 7 x64 and Windows Blinds 7.2, after any update a new entry to the Windows 7 notification bar is added wiith the "WindowBlinds Installation - %1" description. It seems to me like something that did not got deleted while uninstalling of the previous version Impulse did during update.

How would I get rid of these?

I am facing a situation where I have a fence for all my desktop application shortcuts. When this fence goes over 40 icons they get rearanged and the fence looks badly. The four icon rows get rearanged into 3 icon rows, but the fence size was not changed, moving icons out of the fence to get less or equal to 40 icons in the fence would arrange them properly.

Is this something expected or am I facing a bug?

With less than 41 icons:

Fence with less than 41 icons

Adding more icons (41 or more):

More than 40 icons

But I paid for it... an now it's shareware

Yesterday I ran impulse (as usual), and after an small update I saw many updates available... among others, Windows Blinds 7, and IconPackager... but it was listed as IconPackafer (Free).

After installing it... since I was not able to do so under my Windows 7 RC testing machine before, I found it was showing a 30 days trial period (although my Object Descktop subscription is current). So I uninstalled it and used Stardock Central to install IconPackager (version 4.10), now I am getting an update again from Impuse but for IconPackager (Free).

I do not undestand this... if I install the "trial" how do I get it updated to the full version again?

I have been working on an updated version of my [link="https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?skinid=14596&libid=29"]Digital Clock Docklet[/link].

With the help of Ghostwalker doing the skinning job, this new docklet will have, appart the original clock and stopwatch mode, a multi-alarms mode and a world clock mode. Letting you configure multiple one-time/repetitive alarms, multiple world clock for different cities.

It's still a work in progress, right now an alpha version is available at Aqua-soft's thread for this docklet. If you fill like taking some risk, download it now and help me to debug it.

Some shots of the new docklet:

Fences disappear when Windows 7 chaanges the wallpaper

May 17, 2009 5:35 AM by Discussion: Fences

Today I decided to give Microsoft Windows 7's timed wallpaper change a try. What I found is that if you wait until the wallpaper changes, fences disappear but do not get painted again when the wallpaper changes. Icons are not affected they still show, but the fence title and background does not.

It's not a big problem since maximizing any window or placing them over the fences area will cause them to redraw.

It's been more than a year since I acquired ObjectDock plus (followed by a Object Desktop Ultimate & Wincustomize subscription a few months later)... I have seen great updates for many ObjectDesktop apss to come in the last few months, even a great new freebie as Fences.... but saddly enough Object Dock... which is what I really love (I even jump into development again)... has been a very different story.

Months has come by... and no single update to ObjectDock has seen the light, not a beta, no nothing. I have been reading the forums regularly on updates to upcoming releases but there is nothing clear at all. Will ObjectDock will ever be updated? Will version 2.0 really come to us? Who knows...

It would be great if anyone from Stardock would tell us the real story... In the mean time, I'll keep waiting.
